Here, you sleep to the sound of river and
wake up with its brightness that go down next to your
door , you don't even need to leave the
Hostel to be with nature.
Five
chalets composed the Pousada right on main river of Visconde de
MauA all of them between stones, bromeliads, waterfalls and natural
pools of crystalline water. |

Since we are above the villages of
Visconde de MauA , the Hostel is the first to receive the
waters that fall of the Itatiaia National Park,
providing clear and crystal waters , which can be
confirmed by its brightness and
transparency. |

The
chalets are in an area surrounded by waterfalls and
rivers. All chalets have TV , fireplace,
refrigerator , queen size bed , shower with the gas heater and
bathtub with hydro (or ofurô). |

We are close to
major waterfalls of Visconde de Maua and only 100 m from
the waterfall Escorrega, postcard of Visconde de

Do not worry ! There are no
mosquitos in
the region of Visconde de Maua , because the water of the rivers of the
region of Visconde de Mauá is current, very clean ,
crystal and cold , such factors do not favour the reproduction of
them .

refrigerator , living room with sofa-bed and

It is located 50 meters from the Escorrega
waterfall and the river that cross over the
Hostel. |

The chalet 2 is the biggest one It has queen-size bed
, tv, fireplace, living room, kitchen and bathtub with view
of the river. Shower and
bathtub with the gas heater. |

bed is a mezzanine with views of the

The chalet 3 is the closest to the river
and the natural pools.
On the ground floor is a living room
with fireplace, refrigerator and bathroom with the gas
heater. |

In the top floor stays the
queen-size bed and the tv , this chalet has a beautiful view of the
river |

In an
external deck , 25 m from chalet , it is an ofuro
amount the stones (where is the sun
guard in the photo above), exclusive to guests of the
chalet 3. |

|
|

This
chalet is spacious , made of wood and has tv, fireplace , refrigerator
and queen-size bed . Like all chalets this chalet
also has bathroom
with gas heater . The ofuro is individual
and external. |

from of natural pools and 100 m of the Escorrega
waterfall. |

Breakfast

To get easy our access, the
reception is on the roadside on the way to the waterfall Escorrega (100m). |
|

The Pousada has an
excellent Breakfast to sustain the hiking .
Whenever in
the company of countless birds that appear to share our
fruits. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The Pousada
serve homemade lunch, trout and foundes, but such services are charged
separately. |
|
|
|
|
|

|
|
The waterfalls near the
Hostel (photo below) are: Veu
da Noiva , Macacos , Escorrega and Poção da Maromba . Close to the Hostel you will
find 2 more restaurants and a bar . |

Remenber that the region of Visconde de Mauá is comprised of 3 main
villages : village of Visconde de Mauá, Maringá and Maromba. The villages of Maringá and Maromba
concentrated 80% of the attractions of the region of Visconde de
Mauá.
The village of Maringá to the
to the village Maromba is 3
km away . We
are in the Water fall of Escorrega , 3 km above the
village of Maromba and close to the waterfalls .
From the village of Maringá , we are from 6 km
away , there you find the
main restaurants, bars and shops in the region of Visconde de Mauá . |

Lodge is on the road Maromba next to the waterfall
Escorrega, Visconde de Mauá, RJ.
To
arrive
at the inn for those from the Rio de Janeiro (210 km) , or
from São Paulo (300
km), just take the Nova Dutra Highway and exit at
Km 311, between
the towns of Itatiaia (RJ) and Resende
(RJ).
When
leaving the New Dutra Highway in Km 311 , keep up the preferential
road . |

Usually we get full on holidays
with a month in advance and on weekends with 1 to 2
weeks in advance.

chalet through e-mail or by telephone .

performed the payment , please contact to us , so we will send a Voucher with the details to
arrive at the inn , main waterfalls to go and tips on
